Danielle Grant
for Kaipātiki Local Board
It has been my privilege to serve the Kaipātiki Local Board for the last nine years, as chair/deputy chair, providing strong and stable leadership.
I’ve championed: the redevelopment of Northcote, community environmental projects, track upgrades, pollution prevention, investment into sports clubs, improved sporting facilities, more basketball courts and playgrounds, economic development, and maintained tight oversight on budgets.
I speak up for our community, focusing on issues that matter to Kaipātiki: congestion, law and order, housing, heritage protection, the environment, and rates. I make decisions that will meaningfully improve the lives of our community.
We expect honest transport plans, safer town centres and reasonable rates. We must manage housing growth, while protecting our heritage and improving our environment.
I’m a member of the Institute of Directors, a Justice of the Peace, and have served on the Bayview School trustee board for nine years.
